Portland Winter Light Festival

What a turn out! Congratulations to the Portland Winter Light Festival crew and volunteers! The first couple of nights have been spectacular - at least in downtown where I've been. Can't wait to explore the rest of the city and beyond!
Heather (3D designer of the Purr Pods and Demure Le Purr cat forms!) and I got the Glow Cats installed on Wednesday, February 2nd - thank mew!!!! Then I went to Clody Cate's store, GiftyKitty, to install the third cat. Love her vision and how the display turned out! I went back downtown at night to check on the lights and how the cats looked and made tweaks over the next couple of days and got them dialed in for opening night.

The Glow Cats are coming to Portland, Oregon - MY HOMETOWN!
The Portland Winter Light Festival (PDXWLF2022) is such a great event, bringing folks out into the dark winter nights to explore the city and see all kinds of illuminated art.
This is my second installation at the festival, the first one was Stardust in 2019. We had snow and ice and it was gorgeous!

You can see two of the Glow Cats at Pioneer Place in Downtown Portland on SW 4th Avenue near SW Morrison. The third cat can be seen at GiftyKitty in North Portland on Mississippi.
I'm so excited to share my Demure Le Purr Glow Cats with friends and family and my beloved city. They were a hit at The Gardens of Lake Merritt's 10th Annual Autumn Lights Festival in October in Oakland, CA so I hope they are well-received.
I'll update here as we get closer to the date so you'll know where to find them. I'll be driving the sculptures north in my VW Bus and I'm looking forward to the road trip.
