I love Mid Century and Atomic art!! Especially the cats!
One of my favorite, funky art trends of that era is gravel art. Have you seen it?
My grandma had the Siamese kitties and, thanks to eBay, I have them too!
I decided to try my own version by starting out small, in colors that I really dig.
The Gravel Cats were born!
Most of them traveled to Portland, OR (my hometown!) when I brought the Glow Cats up for the Portland Winter Light Festival (PDXWLF2022). One of the sculptures was displayed at GiftyKitty - a purrific cat art store! - so the Gravel Cats and my Swirly Cats are also there for sale. Yay!!!
